Anna Street is actually the name of a street! The company was founded by Nick and Carrie Saunders who decided to name the company Anna Street after the little beach road that Carrie used to walk on with her grandmother as a child and dream about what she would be when she grew up. When she grew up this beach road became even more significant because it is in the town where she met her husband and also where the very first bags were sold to a retail store.
