Wedding Ideas For a new twist on the traditional wedding cake, a cupcake "cake" makes a great display piece. Incorporate your wedding colors into the "layers" on the cake by covering rectangular squares of Styrofoam in fabric and accenting each one with a centered ribbon and bow. Can't sew? Just pin the fabric under each square and use pins to secure the ribbons! |

Party Touches Fabric covered invitations are so special and convey a sense of personalization and detail. Even better, with a little effort on your part they will look rich, but cost less than a traditional engraved invite! Just cover one side of a piece of cardstock with fabric, wrap the raw edges of the fabric around to the opposite side of the cardstock, glue in place and then topstitch around the fabric with a contrasting thread color. For a nice addition stitch a ribbon around the fabric to tie your invitation closed. To complete, simply print out your invites using store bought invitations and glue into place covering the raw edges of the fabric. |
